About

Meet Robin

A Hudson Valley dog trainer with a relationship-first approach to behavior, obedience, and the lifelong harmony between you and your dog.

After more than 20 years in the corporate world, Robin started a dog walking and pet sitting business in 2005. Over the next eleven years, Robin professionally cared for and handled hundreds of dogs — in their homes, on their walks, and in their daily routines — building a deep, hands-on understanding of dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.

In 2016, she adopted Gracie — a pit bull with human aggression who was, by Robin's own words, "out of her league." Faced with losing the dog she loved, she found the right trainer.

Gracie went on to become Robin's demo dog, earned her CD in competitive obedience, and competed very successfully in dock diving — but more than any title or achievement, it was the bond they built through leadership, guidance, and clear communication that changed everything.

That experience sent Robin on a journey — traveling across the country, studying under top trainers, attending seminars and workshops. She has been professionally training dogs since 2018, and hasn't looked back. Her mission: to help every struggling owner find what she found with Gracie.

How Robin Works

Hands-On Owner Coaching

Training that doesn’t leave the trainer’s hands when the session ends. Robin coaches you so the skills, timing, and read-the-dog awareness all become yours.

Real-Time Support

Phone and video support between sessions — because the moments that matter most don’t happen on a Tuesday at 2pm.

Continuous Learning

Robin is committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, blending the foundational principles of dog training with ever-evolving techniques — because what matters most is what works for the dog in front of her.

Relationship First

The goal isn’t a dog who obeys because they fear you. It’s a dog who listens because they trust you and want to.
